  1. I visited his soundcloud page right after the show last night and I just had to download all of it. Simply amazing stuff. To be honest I like the less psychedelic songs the most since I’m more into the goa sound of psy.

Favourites of mine include Psyberwarfare and Hyper Beam but every single track is surely worth a listen.

Will definitely be looking out for more releases.

Thanks for introducing me to Qygen Plasma!

A lot of the “freeform” I like is more or less close to psycore or some kind of derivative of darkpsy, so I’ll be including some of those songs, in no particular order…
RaverRose + ThermalForce – Eternal Cannon (DJ Rx Remix)

Its nice to see you have a Betwixt tune in there My fave BTW tune is Dust to Dust.

Anyways, have you heard the original of Eternal Cannon? The single most amazing second break down in a tune to date. They keychange is absolutely mind blowing You’re aware that ThermalForce is Betwixt? And RaverRose is Haze?

Yes I’m quite aware of that lol. They’re one of the main influences behind the stuff I produce. Their stuff is just simply amazing…

As previously stated: Says it all really 🙂

  3. Thanks for that Chip, very interesting to hear that Qygen had some influences from over here 🙂

By the way, just a correction on the artist names – RaverRose was Betwixt and Hase’s original ‘unit’ name when they collaborated, making happier hardcore tracks (I think the first track I ever heard was a remix of the Double Dragon theme). When they started the harder stuff, they switched to ThermalForce. You’ll notice on some Japanese releases they’re credited as RR-ThermalForce, or just ThermalForce…it’s a bit of a mistake/confusion in the Rx remix’s title.

(by the way, deleted the double comment on the other post for you 🙂 )

  4. Indeed. RR-ThermalForce/RaverRoseTF is an alias for RaverRose and contains B&B + Hase, who retired for unknown reason. ThermalForce is already legendary and probably one of the best producers ever, imo, even with only a very few tracks.
I still know Qygen from Doujinstyle. I listened to his tracks in the past and they were somewhat experimental and simple, but his current stuff became top notch. I haven’t listened to his tunes for quite a while, but L.E.D. Galaxy totally hit my taste. A superb and well-crafted tune!

  5. Ah Cheers Jon, and thanks for the correction 🙂

I’ve posted a link to here from our Freeform forums, as Qygen is a member there. So you may get a bit more traffic soon 🙂

  6. I had heard Qygen on mixu’s channel before.

Good to see another good producer is joining this scene! I’m really liking this. :]
