SunCore – HardNRG wandering by suncore_music
I’ve been meaning to mention this set for a while now – SunCore hails from Russia, and looks to be another up-and-coming DJ with an excellent sense of how to arrange a set. Get past the ferocious bpm of the brutally pitched up Icy Clouds and this is an excellent half-hour of twisted/melancholy freeform. While the mixes might not always be the cleanest, there’s some really excellent stuff going on with the selection, suggesting that SunCore definitely knows his stuff. Hopefully we’ll hear more from him in the future, but for now this (non-downloadable, sadly) set is absolutely worth a listen.

Didn’t like that at all. The tunes sound far too fast and candyman just sounds ridiculous
I enjoyed the first half. Not so much the last half. A bit too fast, yes. Good work though, keep mixing!
And I found another favourite track in Fea – Eclipse!

Looks like it is an old track. All I could find was a 160kbps mp3 on mikseri.
cant listen to anything at the mo as my home internet is screwed and my phone doesnt like soundcloud, will give it a blast though eventually as im changing to a new broadband provider on monday, alderz has kind of put me off though ha ha, not sure i want to hear candyman sound bad, whats the bpm? Can’t say im a fan of mini mixes, you might aswel put the full shift in and do an hour at least lol 🙂

Labraska, how do you only have a 160kbps of Fea? I’m pretty sure it was released on FINRG last year at some point… I’d double check, if not I’m sure I can sort you out with a 320kbps 🙂

Yup, fair comment really…it’s way too fast for me too, but at the same time I really liked the kind of mood SunCore was going for. Drop it by 20bpm or so (it must be 190-200, for those who haven’t listened yet) and you’d have a great set, I reckon.

Not sure what tune Chip’s thinking of, but as far as I can remember the original Eclipse was never released, at least on FINRG. Those PoC remixes are excellent though, I used one of them in my first ever freeform set.

I had a listen to the PoC remix of Eclipse and it is a brilliant track indeed. The last third is mindblowing. I take it this one never got released either then?
