Alek SzΓ‘hala – Sunray (Unfinished Forever Edit) by FINRG Recordings
This has made my day/month/year – a massive update from FINRG, but also from Alek Szahala himself! I think we all have to thank TYFTH’s BerN for leaving a comment on Alek’s guestbook, as he’s gone ahead and added everything requested. Biggest news must surely be the free release of Sunray, an amazing, amazing tune – DJs, make sure to play this one ASAP, it will probably be included in pretty much every mix for the next few months. Other tracks include his live edit of Supriya, Last of the Mohicans and his Live at Sade 2003, while over at the FINRG SoundCloud there are also releases from Sam One and Substanced.
Hopefully Alek will also upload “Solar Hive” as BerN requested.. It’s so unreasonable that it haven’t got released – it has one of the most beautiful melodies I’ve ever heard, at least from Alek.
Although I have it already (Orfeus sent it when I kindly asked moths ago), I want it to be available for everyone π
I have just added it to a mix I made earlier this week. π
Perfect hehe
And thanks Alek for making such unbelievable tunes π
I downloaded this yesterday, was waiting for you to post it up π
This tune is really good, i love the breakdown on the second major break, its astounding. Amazing Trancey riffs all over the track… Amazing
*cries*
Jesus, there are no words to describe how shocked I was to see this. Truly… This month was one of the best months in my whole life.
I’m really happy he managed to do it. I have to add I like the new colors of his site, too. Feels fresh!
*goes to listen Supriya edit* ;_;

You’re right – ‘almost’ everything requested π I’d love to see Solar Hive turn up, too..

You were quick off the mark π Feel free to post up a link to the mix if you’ve got one!

Definitely an incredible track. I love the breakdown too, but the standout for me is the first half leading up to the breakdown, the bassline is (almost) the same note all the way through, but there’s so much going on, just incredible…

Good work, sir!
The last month or so I’ve listened to Sunray (in his Mayhem set) more times than I’d like to admit, so I’m more than a bit happy π
Really hope Alek will have some more time/inspiration in 2010, too π
Another hugggge update from FINRG guys! We now have Dryad Machine, Suprya, 4th Dimension, Cluster Bomb, Polyhedra 08 and Extinguish… Whoop whoop!

I was suppose to make a mix for a very small radio show and started putting it together in the beginning of last week. When the time for airing the show came closer, I actually thought that it would be too good to be true if Alek released a new track in time for me to edit it in as one of the finishing tracks in the mix. Well somehow, it just happend. π
The final mix ended up being a hardtrance moving into freeform kind of thing.
I’m not actually much of a DJ and I’ve just put together a couple of mixes using the program Mixmeister Fusion. π
So the mix isn’t as exotic as it might sound hehe
Sure the mixing is alright and I’m happy with how well Kadotettu Todellisuus 2009 (Grimsoul) switched shape into Sunray, but its not like there is much mixing skills involved. π
(and sorry for the long post :P)
