Substanced – Geneva Part II by Substanced / Subi
Before I disappear for the evening, here’s Substanced’s fabulous preview of Geneva Part II for anyone who missed it earlier in the week. Following up the Risk Addiction remix, this really sounds like an artist at the top of his game – check out those Substanced filtered synths with the tight kick, and the melody is definitely on the right side of melancholy this time around. It feels like a long while since we heard a real ‘Hybridize style’ tune, this is how hard trance+freeform should be done.
Listening it for the second time and I can tell already that this one is going to be one of my favs for a while…

I see exactly what you mean about that ‘Hybridize Sound’. Takes me back a couple of years! Reminds me a bit of Polyhedra 08, production style wise anyways. Fucking love it!
Now we just need me make people start producing FINRG like they did 04-07! Then we’d be back on track, lol.
